Nutmeg is waiting for a home
Nutmeg is a dilute tortie. She is fairly independent but loves being petted. Nutmeg is pretty calm and relaxed. She lives with other rescued cats and gets along fine with them. She mostly ignores them but has no problem if one of them wants to cuddle with her. Nutmeg has a fine appetite and loves mealtimes. She has her favorite spot in her foster home, which is on top of a cat tree, right at a good level for petting. That is where she is found most of the time. Nutmeg requires very little of you, but she is there for you when you need a soft, sweet cat to pet. To see a video of Nutmeg enjoying some petting, go here:
Nutmeg was found as a stray kitten and brought into her foster mom's home where she lives now.
She is a perfect cat for someone who appreciates an independent cat. She allows holding and handling, but don't expect her to seek you out for cuddles or sitting in your lap. You must go to her, she will not bother coming to you.
Nutmeg is healthy, spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If interested in adopting, please ask for an application. There is a reasonable adoption fee.
Nutmeg is currently living in San Jose, CA 95125
