Little Buddy is a sweet, 8-year-old kitty looking for his forever home. He is a true cuddlebug! He does not hesitate to climb into a warm lap and purr loudly while making biscuits. He is very calm, confident, and laid back - even the vacuum cleaner doesn't bother him!

Little Buddy spends most of his day lounging, but he is also playful and likes to play with wand toys, strings, and will bat around toy mice. He also enjoys sitting in the window and watching the birds and squirrels outside. His favorite activity is cuddling and eating yummy treats!

Little Buddy was originally a community cat at a small residential colony in San Jose. After disappearing for a couple of years, he returned to his caretaker in 2024 in bad shape. Little Buddy became an indoor foster kitty, gained weight, and Peninsula Catworks helped his caretaker get him much needed dental work. He is now happy and content and looking for a forever home!

The ideal home is one where Little Buddy can have lots of loving attention, which may look like cuddling on the couch watching a movie, snuggling in bed for naps, or playing with a fun toy. He should remain an indoor kitty due to being FIV positive. Little Buddy has been around young children and would do well in a home with or without children.

* Little Buddy is FIV+, but lived peacefully indoors with an FIV- cat with his original caretaker, and also peacefully coexisted with a FIV- cat in his current foster home.

The vet has estimated his age to be around 8 years old. He is microchipped, neutered, up-to-date on his vaccines, and has been treated for fleas and worms. He has tested negative for FeLV.
