Arwen is fairly quiet but loving and playful cat. She will open up to people after she feels comfortable with them. Once she does, she likes sitting on laps and sleeping on top of you (on top of the covers) at night. However, Arwen likes to choose when she wants attention. She loves playing with her toys: she adores chasing after string dangled behind you on the end of a stick as you walk and chasing after laser pointers too. She has a sock that she pounces on and wadded up paper balls serve as kitty soccer balls for her. Arwen loves watching out the windows, especially at squirrels and birds. She enjoys cat TV on YouTube. A little quirk of hers is that she prefers to drink from a running water source.

Arwen has been an indoor cat her entire life. She was adopted as a kitten from the local rescue shelter during 2020. We are seeking a new home for Arwen due to a family medical issue.

A somewhat quiet and relaxed home would be the best for her, as she does not like loud noises. She is good with people, but is shy. It will take time for her to open up. She has never been around kids, but has lived with another kitten during 2020 - though has not experienced another cat since. She likes to play, but not constantly. Most of the time she loves to lounge around and watch the world go by or take a nap.
