Milo is waiting for a home

Milo w/CW (PCW #2181)
Male
Domestic Short Hair / Tuxedo
Black and White
6 years old

Milo, is a 6 year old, neutered male, Tuxedo DSH. He is very loyal to his person, is friendly and likes hanging out wherever you are but is not overly “needy.” He enjoys a good nap in your lap, a sunny spot, or up high in his cat tree and will sleep with his human if invited. He will play independently but loves when you bring out the laser for some good exercise. Milo is not accustomed to loud active households or small children but great with mellow teens and adults. He has lived and even been good buddies with nice dogs, (lab, border collie, std Poodle) but rambunctious dogs that run after cats…not so much. He has made friends with other cats pretty quickly (both Cricket and Jasper) and would probably befriend other nice friendly cats as well. Milo is content to live indoors with a “catio” outdoor space. He was curious about the larger outdoors a couple of times (when the door was accidentally left open) but was VERY happy and relieved to be found and brought back in. He is up to date on all his shots.

We got him as a rescue when he was a kitten. It is with a very heavy heart that we reach out for help in finding a new home for two of our beloved cats. This is not a decision we ever imagined having to make, and it is truly heartbreaking for our family.

Due to a worsening health condition, I have found it increasingly difficult to be around the cats, which has made daily care and interaction nearly impossible. In addition, we recently welcomed a new grandchild into our lives—an incredible blessing—but they have significant allergies, and as primary caregivers, we must ensure a safe environment for them. These combined challenges have led us to the devastating realization that we need to find a new home where our cats will continue to receive the love and care they deserve.

We rescued them, and they have been deeply loved members of our family ever since. Our only hope is that they find a home as warm and caring as ours has been for them. If there is any assistance available to help us rehome them to a safe, loving environment, we would be incredibly grateful. We are also more than willing to provide financial support if needed to ensure they transition smoothly into their new home.

This is a truly gut-wrenching decision for us, and we are reaching out in the hopes that you can help us navigate this painful process. Please let us know if there are any resources or options available.
